Activities for children and young people
Rural Media Charity works with communities, schools, groups and individuals to create issue-driven films, heritage and digital arts projects that raise awareness, influence change and celebrate rural life. We also run an annual BFI Film Academy for aspiring young filmmakers aged 16-19, film and media workshops for young Gypsy and Traveller people through Travellers Times project, digital arts workshops through our Arts Council NPO programme and are committed to nurturing creative talent for young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
How we work with schools
We are always looking for opportunities to partner with schools through collaboration on development heritage and digital arts projects or filmmaking workshops.
